Andrew Jackson Andrew Jackson, the seventh president of the United states, was born on March 15, 1767, in the Waxhaw settlement on the western marge of South Carolina. Jackson was orphaned at the age of 14 and was brought up by his uncle.Jackson was born into a poor family. When his parents died, he went to live with his Uncle, who was a wealthy slave and land owner.
